App Store has been given special attention in iOS 11 by Apple this year. The technology giant has remove App Store from iTunes, and thus disabled users from installing apps from iTunes. Another important addition is that you can disable autoplay videos in App Store on iPhone and iPad in iOS 11.

But what is this autoplay feature in App Store? Well, when you launch App Store on your iOS device and begin to explore apps or games, some promotional videos capture your attention even as you don’t want to give a damn about those apps/games. By following a few simple steps, you can quickly stop video autoplay in App Store on your iPhone and iPad running iOS 11.

How to Disable Auto-Playing Videos in iOS 11 App Store

Step #1: Launch Settings on your iPhone/iPad.

Open Settings on iPhone or iPad running iOS 11

Step #2: Now swipe up or scroll down on screen and tap on iTunes & App Store.

Step #3: Here, you need to tap on Video Auto-Play.

Step #4: Then you can see three options that you can select how app previews function:

On: This option enables app previews on Wi-fi and mobile data.

Wi-fi Only: When you select this, app previews will be played when your iPhone or iPad is connected with Wi-fi network.

Off: This will disable app previews completely.

You should select Off to completely turn off app previews.

You will not be irritated by auto-playing of those promotional videos in App Store on your iPhone or iPad running iOS 11. If you wish to go back to the former situation, simply follow above steps and choose either Wi-fi Only or On.

You can also play app previews manually in the App Store; for this, simply tap on Play button. Note that video sound is muted by default; you can turn on the sound by tapping the sound icon.
