Finding a parked car in Maps app on iPhone and iPad running iOS 11 and iOS 10 is easy. Earlier it was a tough task; no less than a feat if you can spot yours from thousands of car. Sometimes it was easier to find a needle in a haystack. But now the improved Maps app in iOS 11 or iOS 10 offers you some better solutions.
To make this happen, your car must have Apple CarPlay feature and it should be paired with your iPhone or iPad on Bluetooth. This feature is a great help for users who park their cars in a multi-storied building.
So now stop roaming around to find car and use Maps app on your iPhone or iPad to find parked car.
How to Find Parked Car from iPhone and iPad Using Maps App in iOS 11 and iOS 10
First off, you need to turn on Show Parked Location from Maps app.
Step #1: Open Settings app on your iOS device.
Step #2: Scroll down and tap on Maps.
Step #3: Now toggle the button of Show Parked Location ON.
Next, Pair your Car with iOS device.
To pair Apple’s CarPlay with your device, you need to go through car’s manual as different makes of car may offer different way to pair the device. After pairing your car, you can check it in Settings → Bluetooth → My Devices on your iPhone/iPad.
Next, your iOS 10 will take responsibility of your car’s location; note that the feature will not recognize your home address. Probably because you don’t need to find your car at home ☺.

Now you can find your car without any hassle.
Step #1: Open Maps app on iPhone/iPad.
Step #2: A blue dot will show your location and a blue pin will show the approximate location of your car.
Step #3: Tap on Pin to see more details of car/location.
Step #4: Users also click photos of a specific place/location to remember where they have parked their cars. In this case, they also have to click photos of pillar/post near which they have parked their cars.

You can use iPhone notification to get info about your parked car. This notification comes when you leave the car after parking it; the Maps app drops a pin once the car is parked.
Tap on the notification and get more details; a live map shows where you have parked the car. In addition to this, Maps app gives you direction to the parked car. But the flip side is that this feature works only when you car is parked in garage or street.
