How to See iPhone X, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus Model Number
The About section in Settings reveals the secrets of Apple. Note that Apple doesn’t print model numbers and other information on the back of its latest iPhone X or iPhone 8; and therefore, users have to look inside their devices. Here are two methods:
Method #1: Take out the SIM card tray and you can read the fine print.
Method #2: Go to the device settings.
Check the Model Number of iPhone X, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus on SIM Tray
When you take your SIM tray out, you can check the model number of your iOS device.
Step #1: Insert that SIM card removal piercing tool into the slot on your iPhone X or iPhone 8.
Step #2: When you push the tool a bit, the tray will come out.
Step #3: Here, you can keep the tray under bright light or use a magnifying glass.
How to Find iPhone X, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus Model Number from Settings App
Step #1: Open Settings app on your iPhone X or iPhone 8.
Step #2: Now tap on General.
Step #3: Next, tap on About.
Step #4: Here, you will see IMEI number and Model number under the Carrier option. The number you can see is not the actual model number; you need to tap on that and view model number of your iPhone X or iPhone 8.
How to View Regulatory Information for iPhone X, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus
You can also view regulatory information of your iPhone X or iPhone 8 with two more taps.
Open Settings → General → About → Legal → tap on Regulatory.
