How to Delete Individual Articles in News App on iPhone/iPad
Step #1: Launch News app on your iPhone/iPad.
Step #2: At the bottom of your phone screen, you will notice a few options. Saved is the last option. Tap on this button.
Step #3: Now tap on History button seen at the top of mobile screen.
Step #4: Swipe from left to right on the news item you want to delete.
Step #5: You will see three options: Share, Save, and Delete.
Step #6: Tap on Delete.
The above method will let you delete news articles one by one. But what if you want to remove all articles from History and Recommendations at one go?

How to Delete History, Recommendations at one go in News app in iOS 10 on iPhone/iPad
Step #1: Open News app on your iPhone/iPad.
Step #2: Tap on the Saved Option from the bottom of your phone screen.
Step #3: Just ensure that History button is selected at the top.
Step #4: Below the two buttons Saved and History, you will notice Clear button in red fonts. Tap on Clear button.
Step #5: Three options will swipe up from the bottom of phone screen: Clear History, Clear Recommendations, and Clear All.
- Clear History will delete entire History.
- Clear Recommendations will remove all Recommendations.
- Clear All will remove History and Recommendations.
