Step #1: Open the typing area with keyboard on screen.

Step #2: Tap and pull down the key to enter the number or symbol associated with the letter.

Tap and swiping down the key enables flick. For example, tap and pull down “P” to enter the number “0”.

How to Turn Off the Key Flicks in iOS 11 on iPad

Key Flicks are enabled by default. But, you can turn it on/off based on your need.

Step #1. Open Settings on your iPad.

Step #2. Next, tap on General.

Step #3: Now, Tap on Keyboard.

Step #4. Here you can toggle on or off “Enable Key Flicks” option.

The Key Flicks feature is enabled by default in more or less all iPads running on iOS 11. The only exception is with the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Only this device doesn’t support the Flicks feature. This one good feature will definitely improve your typing experience once you get a hold of it.
