Google was the first to introduce two-step authentication or verification for its users to save them from data hack. The virtual or digital world has its own downside in data theft; your data is crucial for you and therefore, you need to protect your email ids, phone numbers and other important details you save in Google.
After Google’s initiatives, Facebook and Twitter have also introduced two-step verification. This is a secured way to protect your social media accounts. If any user sets up this two-step authentication on Google or any other platform, s/he will receive a unique code on his/her mobile before they sign up for the service. After entering that code, they will be able to access their accounts.
This system doesn’t allow any third-party to access your accounts or data as the code is sent to your registered mobile number and your mobile is with you always. So check this following information and set up two-step verification on your Google and Gmail accounts.
