Before you setup Amazon Echo Show, you should know where to place the device. It is advisable to select a central location or keep your Echo Show at least 8 inches away from walls and windows. This is a primary requirement of placing your device; you can choose any place like kitchen, living room or bedroom in your house. How to Setup Amazon Echo Show
Step #1: Role of Alexa app
Alexa is just like Siri on iPhone or iPad. It is your intelligent voice assistant helping you on all your Amazon smart speakers. You can use this voice assistant on your iOS and Android devices as well. But here, this app has a special role to play, and therefore, you need to download Alexa app. Note that you can use Alexa on FireOS 3.0 or above, Android 5.0 or above, and iOS 9.0 or above.

Step #2: Turn your Echo Show On
Insert the power adapter (comes in the package) into Echo Show and then plug it into a power source. Follow on-screen instructions to choose a language, connect it to Wi-Fi, sign into your Amazon account, and check Echo Show terms and conditions.
Step #3: Interaction with Alexa
You can start using your Amazon Echo Show when you see the home screen with rotating pages. To begin with, speak your ‘wake word’ and then speak naturally to Alexa. By default, the wake word is ‘Alexa’, but you can always change or customize Alexa wake word.
