The latest WhatsApp update now allows me to pin WhatsApp chats on my iPhone; this update is also rolled out on Android as well. This feature enables me to prioritize the chats with my contacts.

Given the widespread popularity of WhatsApp, I have begun to use this app for some official conversations. If you like to chat with your contacts about some important topics, you can also pin WhatsApp chat on iPhone and Android phone.

This feature gives you freedom to pin three individuals or group chats on your device. Note that you can quickly access your pinned chats from the top of chats listed on your messaging app. Later on, you can unpin WhatsApp chats on your iPhone and Android devices.

Before you go ahead, you need to download the latest WhatsApp version from the respective App Store and Google Play Store.

Step #1. Open WhatsApp on your iOS device.

Step #2. Tap on Chats tab.

Step #3. Select the Contacts you want to pin.

Step #4: Now, just swipe the contact from left to right.

Step #5: At last, tap on Pin button.

Now you will see this contact always on the top of WhatsApp chat. You can follow the same procedure to Pin two more group or single chats.

Note that you cannot pin more than three chats.

 

How to UnPin WhatsApp Chat on iPhone

Now, if you don’t want the contact to display at the top of the WhatsApp chat then you can simply unpin it by following this procedure.

Step #1. Open WhatsApp on your iPhone.

Step #2. Go to Chats tab.

Step #3: Swipe from left to right to unpin the contact.

Step #4: Finally, press on Unpin button.
