Step #1: Open Home App on your iOS device.
Step #2: Tap on Add Accessory.
Step #3: Tap on Accessories appeared. Tap on Allow if prompted to add Accessory to your network.
Step #4: Now, scan eight digit Homekit code or QR code on the accessory using camera app.
If you are using an iPhone 7 or later device running iOS 11 and when you see a sound type icon on your accessory then hold your iOS device near the accessory to add it.
Step #5: Next, you need to add information about accessory like name, Room, type, Include in Favorites, etc.
Step #6: Tap on Next.

How to Edit Smart Home Devices Details in Home App on iPhone and iPad
Step #1: Open Home App on your iOS device.
Step #2: Tap on Home tab.
Step #3: Press and hold an accessory you wish to edit details for.
Step #4: Tap on Details.
