Every morning you wake up to the same, old monotonous Alarm tone that rings on your Echo devices. This obviously makes your morning boring.
You wish you could add your favourite songs to Alexa so that your Echo device plays that music as wake-up alarm. For this, you need to give Alexa a simple command and the voice assistant will set your favourite song as music alarms. So here is how to set music as alarm on Alexa in Amazon Echo Devices
Note that you can choose songs to add music as alarm on Alexa from different music services you have subscribed for. If, for example, you have Amazon Music, Pandora, and Spotify, you can use songs from any of the services.
However, you need to set at least one music service as your default music service on Alexa, so that the intelligent speaker doesn’t go place to place to find your choice of music to set it as alarms.
How to Set Music as Alarm on Alexa in Amazon Echo, Echo Dot and Echo Plus Devices
First of all, you need to make sure that you have set default music services in Alexa. So follow this below mentioned step to select your default music services.
How to Choose Default Music Services in Alexa
Step #1: Launch Alexa app on your smart phone.
Step #2: Open Settings and then tap on Music & Media.
Step #3: Next, tap on CHOOSE DEFAULT MUSIC SERVICES button.
Step #4: Finally, tap on your choice of music services like Amazon Music, Pandora, iHeartRadio, Spotify etc.
Once you have set up a default music service on your Alexa app, you can command Alexa to add music alarms. You can now ask Alexa to wake you up with any song, artist, station, radio/news station, playlist or genre.
Users must have subscribed for Spotify Premium or Amazon Music through Prime account; alternatively, you can use your Amazon Music Unlimited subscription.
If you are not a Prime member, Alexa will use Pandora, TuneIn, Sirius XM, and iHeartRadio to play a station based on that song request.

“Alexa, set an alarm for 6 am to the song that goes, “I don’t want to work today, maybe I just wanna stay relax.”
“Alexa, wake me up with relaxing music at 6 am”.
That’s it! Now every morning, wake up with your favourite songs and set the right mood for the entire day.
