A reboot can fix issues like Google Home not responding, when Home fails to recognize your voice, when Google Home becomes unresponsive, not connecting to Wi-Fi, Google Home Not connecting to Smart home devices or Bluetooth connection drops.
Many users have also complained about music subscription not working on Google Home; you can fix such issues by rebooting or restarting your Google Home device.
How to Reboot/Restart Google Home and Google Home Mini
As mentioned above, you can restart your Home devices by following two methods. First, we will reboot Google Home by using the app on iOS or Android device.
Method #1: Restart Google Home and Mini from App
First of all, you need to make sure that your phone or tablet is connected to the same Wi-fi network as your Google Home device is connected to.
Step #1: Launch Google home App on your phone or tablet.
Step #2: Tap on Devices icon from the top right corner of the app screen.
Step #3: Find the device card for the Google Home device you want to restart.
Step #4: Tap on the device card menu from the top right corner of the device card.
Step #5: Tap on Settings.
Step #6: Now, you will be landed on Device setting page; tap on More button.
Step #7: Finally, tap on Reboot.
Method #2: Unplug Google Home to Reboot
Unplug the power cable from your Google Home device and leave it for at least 1 minute.
Plug the power cable back into your Google Home device.
