According to latest update from WhatsApp developer team, now users can download WhatsApp desktop app on their Mac and Windows PC. Thanks to the team, who always think of the next, now the life is easier for WhatsApp friends.
Earlier too, WhatsApp users got a surprise from the team in the update, following which, users now can type bold, italics and strikethrough the chat. Before this, there was a downpour in WhatsApp web, which was wholeheartedly welcome by users. Though users sometimes feel that WhatsApp is not working on their Android devices, there is a solution to this problem.
This time, WhatsApp has achieved a breakthrough by letting users download WhatsApp desktop app on Mac and Windows PC. This whatsApp desktop app behaves similarly as WhatsApp web acts; you need to download this app and then sync the app with your smartphone by scanning QR code as you must have done on WhatsApp web.
But if you think that you don’t need to scan this code every time, you are wrong. This app, once downloaded, will sit on the desktop of your Mac or Windows PC. Double-click the app and it will ask to scan QR code with your Android, iOS or Windows device.
This WhatsApp Desktop app is compatible with Windows 8 and above, and OS X 10.9 and above. Download this app from this link; once you download the app, follow the steps below.
How to Download Whatsapp Application for Windows PC and Mac.
Step #1: Click on Run button that will set up the app.
Once the app is fully downloaded, it will open on your Mac or Windows PC. A shortcut will be created on the desktop.
Step #2: You can open the app from desktop by double-clicking the WhatsApp desktop app icon.
Step #3: A QR code will appear on the screen.
Step #4: Open WhatsApp on your smartphone.
Step #5: Now launch WhatsApp Web.
If you are using iPhone, tap on Settings > WhatsApp Web.

Step #2: Now click on attachment icon on the upper right corner of contact page.
Step #3: Three options will appear on the screen: Photos & Videos, Camera, and Documents.
Step #4: Click on Documents, which is the third option.
Step #5: A file selection window will open; select the document and share with your contact.
