How to Change Siri Language or Accent on HomePod
You can easily change Siri language from the Home App on your iPhone or iPad.
Step #1. Launch the Home app on your iDevice.
Step #2. Tap on Rooms tab from the bottom.
Step #3. Tap on the room which HomePod is located.
Step #4. Long press on your Apple HomePod.
Step #5. Tap on Details button.
Step #6. Tap on Language in the Siri selection.
Step #7: Finally, Select your preferred Siri language.
How to Disable Off/On The Light and Sound When Using Siri on HomePod
From the waveform animation, you get to know that Siri is paying attention to your commands and is working to answer your questions. When you listen to a sound tone, you get a confirmation that Siri has heard you. In case you are not happy with this animation or sound, you can turn off both the things.
Step #1: Go to Home App on your device.
Step #2: Tap on Rooms tab.
Step #3: Tap on the Room which contains the smart speaker.
Step #4: Press and hold on HomePod and then tap on details.
Step #5: Finally, Toggle OFF/ON Lights when using Siri and Sound when using Siri the switches.
How to Switch Between Male and Female Siri Voice on HomePod
By default, Siri uses female Voice in some regions. So if you don’t like the Siri Voice you can switch between male and female sound.
Note: if you don’t Siri Voice options on HomePod? Make sure you’ve downloaded the additional voices on your iOS device or they may not show up as options on HomePod.
Step #1: Launch Settings app on iOS device.
Step #2: Tap on Siri & Search.
Step #3: Next, Tap on Siri Voice.
Step #4: Now, Select Male or Female to download the voice data.
Then, you need to set it up on HomePod.
Launch the Home app → from the bottom, tap on Rooms tab → Choose the room which contains HomePod → Tap long on the HomePod → tap on Details button.
Step #5: Here you need to tap on Siri Voice and then choose Male or Female.
