After the device is switched off, press and hold the Bixby and volume up buttons simultaneously and then hit the power button. Once your phone switches on, release the power button, but don’t loosen your grip on Bixby and volume up buttons. When you the phone’s screen turns blue and Android logo appears, you need to release the rest of the buttons.
When your Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus doesn’t see any updates or commands, the recovery screen will appear automatically. This is when you can perform tasks like clearing cache or putting your phone to factory reset.
