Before you go ahead, download Today Snippet from the App Store. This is a useful widget that enables you to add text from many apps. Once you integrate this widget with Notes app, you can add content you have saved a note to your phone’s lock screen.
Step #1: Open Notes app on your iOS device.
Step #2: Now if you have already created some Notes on the device, you can tap on any one Note. Or you can create new one and then tap.
Step #3: Once the Note is opened, you can select the content of the Note.
Step #4: A menu will appear on your phone screen once you select the Note. This menu will display options like Copy, Look Up, Share, Indent Right etc.
Step #5: Tap on Share option.
A menu will swipe up from the bottom of your iPhone. There will be a few options listed in two rows. In the last row, you will see More as option next to Copy. Tap on More.
Step #6: Next, toggle the Today option ON. This action will add this Today Snippet in the bottom menu you have just seen in the above step.
Step #7: Now tap on Today and your selected Note will be added to Today Snippet.
Step #8: Go back to the lock screen of your phone and bring down the widget menu.
Step #9: Tap on Edit button and add Today Snippet widget.
Post this, you will be able to see the Note you have shared with Today Snippet.
Want to delete the text in Today Snippet? Open Today Snippet app and go to Settings. Next, tap on ‘Delete Today Snippet Text’.
